Behavioral health

Together We Stand has a Behavioral Health department that handles Mental Health, Substance Use, and Harm Reduction. The mission of the TWS Behavioral Health Department is to empower and support adolescents, adults, families, and homeless individuals through comprehensive and compassionate quality of care. We are committed to providing excellent care, fostering a safe environment, and advocating for the well-being and dignity of every individual we serve. We offer specialized services in mental health, substance use, and harm reduction, ensuring that our programs are inclusive and accessible to all. Through education, outreach, and accessible resources, we aim to reduce harm associate with substance use, mental health, and other health risks, promoting a healthier and stronger community. 

We offer many services to our patients and the public for free and through referrals to our partnership organizations. Here is a comprehensive list of our services: 

• Complex Case Management
• Overdose Prevention, Education, and Naloxone Distribution (OPEND)
• Fentanyl Test Strips 
• Syringe Exchange Program (SEP)
• Substance Use Navigation w/ Case Management
• Medication Assisted Treatment Referrals to BACH or Highland Bridge Program
• Housing Referrals
• Medical Referrals 
• Helps w/ Applying for Social Services (Medical, Medicaid, CalFresh, GA, and Unemployment) 
• HIV & HEP C Testing and Treatment (patients receive a $25.00 gift card if they do testing at BACH)
• Tobacco Cessation Education and Treatment (Treatment through BACH) 
• Street Medicine Team
